Central Women's University Hosts Inspiring Celebration for International Women's Day, Featuring Khushi Kabir and Engaging Competitions"

A vibrant celebration to commemorate International Women's Day has been unfolded today at Central Women's University, thanks to the collaborative efforts of the Gender Club and Debate Club!
We were honoured to have Khushi Kabir, a prominent figure in Bangladesh's human rights activism and feminist leadership, as our guest of honour. As the Coordinator of Nijera Kori, she graced us with her inspiring presence and delivered a heartfelt speech, reflecting on the rich history of women's struggles and triumphs that underpin the significance of Women's Day.
The program concluded with a series of engaging competitions that included: the "Inter-Department Debate Competition 2024," "Inter-Department Poster Competition," and "Inter-College Public Speech and Quiz Competition 2024," followed by an exciting prize-giving ceremony. Subsequently, attendees were delighted by captivating cultural performances that enhanced the festive ambience of the event.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to making this celebration a resounding success!
