Bridging Academia and Industry: CSE Students' Insightful Visit to TecHHub Bangladesh
Industrial Visit to TecHHub Bangladesh:
On November 20, 2024, the students of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) had the privilege of visiting TecHHub Bangladesh as part of their System Analysis & Design Sessional course curriculum.
We extend our deepest gratitude to Mr. Zafar Ullah Khan, Advisor-Policy Advocacy, Right2Grow Project, Save the Children, and the TecHHub team for their warm hospitality and engaging sessions that made this visit a resounding success.
Highlights of the Visit:
Mr. Najat Chowdhury, Head of esh Team, emphasized the organization's mission and the importance of ethical policies like "Safeguarding," which positively influence society.
Ms. Nashin Jahan, Technical Specialist & Lead Business System Analyst, delivered a compelling presentation on the structured approach to system development.
Ms. Rusafa Binte Sohrawardi, Business Analyst, shared the journey of developing the Integrated Management of Childhood Illness (IMCI) app, highlighting the challenges, solutions, and real-world impact of digital tools.
Ms. Fariha Ahmed, Business Analyst, explained how Agile and Waterfall methodologies are applied effectively in industry projects.
Ms. Fyruz Zahin, Trainee Business Analyst, introduced the Digital Equity Fellowship program, designed to empower young women in ICT through internships and career opportunities.
Ms. Yeasmin Begum Mita, Coordinator, ensured the visit was both enjoyable and productive for all participants.
This visit served as an excellent platform for students to connect their academic learning with real-world industry practices. The knowledge and inspiration gained from this experience will undoubtedly play a pivotal role in shaping their future careers.
