The Computer Science and Engineering Department of Central Women's University organized its annual picnic on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at the Grand Bhawal Resort, Keraniganj, brimming with contagious enthusiasm. Departing from the CWU campus at 9:00 am, participants were treated to a hearty breakfast before embarking on a journey filled with joy and companionship. Amidst the breathtaking scenery at the park, fatigue from the road trip dissipated. Amidst an abundance of enjoyment and invigorating swimming facilities, participants relished a refreshing dip in the swimming pool, immersing themselves in the fun-filled atmosphere. Following the lunch, there were several games and activities for both faculty and students. everything was enthusiastically presented by the students and teachers. The proactive participation of the freshers and alumni students was extremely appreciable to all. It was a beautiful union of students and faculty members in a charming environment. everyone enjoyed to the fullest forgetting their complexities in life. It was a refreshing tour for all escaping from monotonous life. All are returned to the CWU premises at 6 pm, carrying with them memories that will last a lifetime.
The esteemed presence of Mrs. Shahnaj Parvin, Chairperson of the department, added vibrancy to the event, actively participating in gaming sessions and adding to the festive spirit. Mrs. Sher Shermin Azmiri Khan, Assistant Professor, and event convener, led with passion and dedication, accompanied by Ayesha Aziz Prova, Senior Lecturer, whose energy was instrumental in enlivening the event. Mst. Shapla Khatun, as treasurer, ensured smooth financial management, supported by Mr. Sabbir Ahmed, Lab Assistant, whose unwavering assistance contributed to the event's success. Gratitude is extended to all students whose hard work and dedication made the event a resounding success.
