Central Women's University Career Club Shines Bright at the 2024 Competition Finale!

Central Women's University Career Club proudly concluded its highly anticipated 2024 competitions, featuring the CV and Cover Letter Writing, Group Presentation, and Extempore Speech categories. Hosted at the prestigious CWU auditorium on February 22, 2024, the event witnessed the convergence of talent, passion, and innovation from students across five departments.
We were honored to have Ms. Shahana Parvin, FCMA, Senior Finance Manager at ICDDRB, Bangladesh, as our esteemed Guest of Honor and judge for the final round. Joining her were distinguished faculty members, including Prof. Dr. Maleka Behum, Mr. Abdus Selim, Department Head of English Literature and Modern Languages; Ms. Fazila Banu Lily, Department Head of Sociology and Gender Studies; and Mr. Sajeeb Sarker, Chairperson of Journalism and Media Studies.
The event commenced with a heartfelt inauguration by the Founder of the CWU Career Club and Chairperson of the Department of Business Administration, Mr. Hasan Shirazi. Our talented hosts, Umme Hani Khusbu Lodhi and Jannatul Ferdous, students of Business Administration, charmed the audience with their grace and charisma throughout the program.
Our dedicated moderators, Ms. Tanjela Hossain and Mr. Md. Mahbub Iqbal, orchestrated the prize-giving session, recognizing the outstanding achievements of participants across all categories.
Amidst cheers and anticipation, we proudly introduced the new committee, led by Ms. Mumtareen Jahan as President, Ms. Atika Arufa as General Secretary, and five executive members from various departments.
An instant quiz competition also provided an interactive and entertaining experience for our enthusiastic audience.
We were privileged to welcome Registrar Elias Ahmed, whose inspiring speech resonated with students, igniting a spark of motivation and determination. The event drew a diverse audience, with over 150 students participating across various categories alongside attendees from neighboring colleges.
At Central Women's University Career Club, our "Exploring Excellence" tagline and the motto "Bridging the Academia and Industry" guide our endeavors. The program's theme, "Elevate Excellence and Ignite Career," encapsulated our mission to empower students to reach their full potential and bridge the gap between academia and industry.
