campus activation program for student membership of Bangladesh Women in Technology (BWIT)

The first campus activation program for student membership of Bangladesh Women in Technology (BWIT) was held in Central Women’s University on 23rd January 2020. The program was hosted by the department of CSE and was led by Dr. Lafifa Jamal, Professor, Department of Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering, University of Dhaka and President, BWIT, Also, Directors of BWIT, Tauhida Haider Reema, CEO, Global Web Outsourcing Ltd and Dr. Selina Sharmin, Assistant Professor, Department of CSE, Jagannath University were present and gave their valuable speech. The students learned about the activities, achievements and opportunities of BWIT. They were greatly inspired by the speakers to move forward in the field of technology fighting any kind of adversity. At the end of the program, a short speech was delivered to create awareness among the students against online harassment of women. It was a very successful program and the department of CSE is very happy to be able to host this program.
