Documentary film- Merciless Mayhem the Bangladesh Genocide through Pakistani Eyes

Central Women’s University Cinema Club organized a documentary film “Merciless Mayhem: The Bangladesh Genocide through Pakistani Eyes” on December 26, 2018 at the university auditorium. Students along with faculty members watched the 61-minute film, directed by Fuad Chowdhury, Head of programme, Deepto TV. The documentary features interviews of a group of expatriate Pakistanis, who shared their firsthand experiences of genocide committed by Pakistani occupation forces during the liberation war of Bangladesh. After the show Fuad Chowdhury shared his experience of making the film. The objective of the programme was to inform the audience about the actual scenario of the liberation war and to motivate them to study and conduct research on this glorious historical event.
