“Build and Launch a Complete Online Store with Odoo E-Commerce”

Central Women’s University (CWU), under the CWU-Odoo Education Program, organized a webinar and hands-on workshop titled “Build and Launch a Complete Online Store with Odoo E-Commerce” on September 10, 2026 (Thursday), from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM. The webinar was conducted online and was designed for 4th-year CSE students, BBA students from all four majors - Accounting, Finance, Human Resource Management, and Marketing - and MIS students.
The webinar aimed to provide students with practical knowledge and hands-on exposure to Odoo E-Commerce and online store development. It introduced participants to the essential steps involved in building, managing, and launching an online store using the Odoo platform.
The key areas covered during the webinar included:
• Online Store Setup: Designing and launching an online storefront without requiring coding expertise.
• Product Listing and Catalog: Adding, organizing, and presenting products effectively.
• Order Fulfillment and Shipping: Processing customer orders and managing smooth delivery.
• Payment Gateway Integration: Understanding how secure online payment facilities can be integrated into an e-commerce store.
The webinar provided an excellent opportunity for students from different disciplines to gain practical and industry-oriented knowledge of e-commerce. Students were able to understand how business functions such as marketing, finance, accounting, HRM, information systems, and computer technology can work together in developing and managing a digital business.
