Honoring Leaders Who Drive Social Transformation
Honoring Leaders Who Drive Social Transformation
Today, our students had the honour of participating in the prestigious “Ruby Ghuznavi Award for Social Justice 2024”, organized by the A. F. Mujibur Rahman Foundation. The award ceremony was held this morning at the BRAC Centre Inn Auditorium, BRAC Centre (2nd Floor), Mohakhali, Dhaka, and celebrated the remarkable contributions of Moanoghar, one of the largest charities dedicated to the education and wellbeing of under-privileged children in the Chittagong Hill Tracts. We are delighted to share that 12 dedicated volunteers from Central Women’s University actively took part in the program. Throughout the ceremony, our volunteers demonstrated exceptional professionalism, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility representing CWU with pride. By witnessing such an inspiring event-featuring keynote speeches, cultural performances, and the formal handover of the Ruby Ghuznavi Award, our volunteers gained meaningful exposure to real-life leadership, community development, and the spirit of social justice. We believe this experience will deeply enrich their understanding of service, empathy, and civic engagement. As a club committed to shaping socially conscious young women, we take immense pride in our volunteers for their commendable participation. May this experience continue to inspire them to contribute positively to society.
